Hello, I’m Marie -- a native English speaker from the U.S.

I have worked with top international organizations in the U.S. and have 10+ years of English teaching experience in Japan, both as a freelance English teacher and a business professional, teaching for Takenobu Miki's company, TORAIZ — but now you can get the same high-quality lessons at a lower rate!

My specialties are Everyday Conversation and Business English for low-intermediate to advanced English learners.
 
I also speak Japanese, Spanish, and Russian, and use methods I used to learn these languages for my lessons -- a lot of repitition. Lessons consist of online articles, videos, and original questions and case studies.

- If a lesson is cancelled 24 hours or less before the start time, there will be a 100% cancellation fee. If the cancellation is due to reasons such as illness or other emergencies, I may make exceptions.

  • More than 24 hours before lesson start time.→ Cancellation is possible at any time.
  • Less than 24 hours before lesson start time.→ The tutor may take a cancellation fee.
  • No-Show→ The tutor may take a cancellation fee.
