Hi there! I'm Mari Christel from the Philippines! 

I’m an experienced online English teacher with multiple years of teaching both one-on-one and in group settings. I’m TESOL and TEFL certified and a Callan Method Instructor. I have taught students of all ages from Beginners to Advanced with diverse backgrounds (mostly Japanese, Korean, Taiwanese etc.) I enjoy meeting new people and I also love that i can teach students and learn from them both at the same time!
 

What to expect in my lessons? 
Every lesson is made just for you. When I say you can ask for anything, I mean ANY thing (as long as it’s not something unethical or illegal ofcourse). To make sure I can meet your needs, I’ll ask about your preferences before the lesson.

In my lessons, we will use a 30% teacher, 70% student talking approach. The teacher will provide some guidance and explanations, but most of the talking and learning will be done by you, the student.

Note:
You are always welcome to request no camera during any of my lessons, but if you choose to turn off your camera, I will also turn mine off.

Bonus Content:

After each session, you'll receive a copy of the materials (audio/video/presentations) we used and a study note. Because of this, I won’t be using the chatbox much—only when necessary.
