Nao705 講師的自我介紹

Hi, I’m Nao.

Born and raised in Japan, still based here.

I have a perfect TOEIC score (990) and use English naturally in real-world settings.

For many learners, English never feels as effortless as their first language.

If that feels familiar, it’s not about talent or age.

It’s about how English is processed, perceived,

and how its rhythm, flow, and thinking patterns are built from the inside.

Who my lessons are for

My lessons are for Japanese speakers who want to use English

as their own language — naturally and without constant strain.

Especially those who:

- Have strong test results but lack confidence in real conversation

- Use English at work but feel they are always “just managing”

- Have studied grammar and pronunciation, but still lack the “sense” of English

There is a clear difference between

using English to get through conversations,

and using it to think, decide, and build relationships.

When English becomes your own language,

communication becomes more precise,

and your role shifts from reacting to actively engaging.

How I approach language learning

“Stop playing baseball with a cricket bat.”

When Japanese learners study English,

they often try to handle it using Japanese tools.

They improve — but only at adapting to the wrong system.

And without realizing it,

not just the sound,

but the rhythm, flow,

and even how they think and structure ideas

are reshaped through that system.

If we put it in terms of music,

it’s like trying to play the French horn

without ever having touched one,

without ever having heard the piece

or a real horn ensemble,

relying only on sheet music and instructions,

and using a xylophone in your hands

to recreate not just the notes,

but the resonance itself—

and then trying to move people with that sound.

And at the same time,

saying,

“I want to become a great horn player.”

What matters most is recognizing the difference.

English and Japanese differ not only in vocabulary and grammar,

but in rhythm, structure,

and how thought itself is organized.

In my lessons:

- Pronunciation is built through physical sensation and resonance

- Grammar is understood through differences in thinking patterns

- Vocabulary is connected to meaning and situation, not translation

You don’t need perfection from the start.

What matters is noticing the difference

and gradually becoming familiar with the right system.

As your awareness shifts,

the rhythm, flow, and structure of English

begin to feel natural — quietly, steadily.
