Hello, my name is Leslie

I am a native English speaker of British decent and live in sunny South Africa.

I love travelling, seeing new places and embracing new cultures. In addition, I enjoy getting involved in community cleanups, waste reduction and energy conservation projects.

I enjoy reading philosophy books, history books and travel and outdoor magazines. I keep fit by walking, playing tennis, cycling and swimming.

I am TEFL Certified and have a Diploma in Educational Psychology. 
I have taught English in a couple of countries in Asia, which including, China, Thailand and most recently in Vietnam. A combined total of 4 years in class, 40 000 hours, and more than 1800 hours online teaching experience.

My students can expect honesty, sincerity and a teacher that listens, is engaging, empathetic, patient, adaptable and very passionate about forming meaningful relationships with my students and watching them grow and master new skills.

I try to ensure that there is always a bit of fun and laughter in my class coupled with a meaningful life lesson. I like to listen and focus on pronunciation, vocabulary and finally, grammar. My classes are usually conversational, and I like to allow my students to pick a topic we can explore and talk about. Furthermore, can help you with your IELTS preparations, from listening, reading, writing and speaking.
