Modesty Rice Tutor Profile

Hello everyone!

My name is Modesty and I am originally from Winston-Salem, North Carolina located on the East side of the United States of America. However, I grew up in Sacramento, California and then moved to the Los Angeles area for graduate school.

From 2014 to 2023 I lived in the south of France in a very beautiful city called Toulouse. I speak French fluently and I am now living in Tokyo, Japan. I am currently learning to speak Japanese and Chinese.

I played basketball for over 25 years, and for the past 8 years I have been practicing Chinese Kung Fu. Additional activities I enjoy doing during my free time are reading, writing, playing the piano and the flute, archery, and learning other languages.

I have taught English in both France and Japan to all ages, and I look forward to helping you with your English-speaking goals!
