Hello!
I'm L sensei, your guide on the wonderful journey of learning Spanish.
My Story
It all began over ten years ago with a teaching certification I discovered through a "stroke of fate."
At the time, freshly graduated and studying Japanese, I knew I had found my path. Teaching, my love for my native language, and the desire to connect cultures all converged into a single calling.
Since then, I have had the privilege of guiding students from all over the world (Sweden, Korea, the United States, Japan, Brazil, and more), first in physical classrooms and, for the past eight years, in the vibrant digital world.
Every student confirms that this is not just my job—it's my passion. It thrills me to be a part of their achievements and to constantly learn alongside them.
My Specialty: Spanish for Early Childhood (0-7 years)
My journey as a mother profoundly transformed my perspective. I don't just understand child development from theory; I live and observe it firsthand.
This experience led me to dedicate myself completely to specializing in guiding young children.
I don't teach Spanish to children; I guide them to live it.
My approach is unique:
· I design immersive cycles where songs, stories, and image-based activities are repeated with care, creating a safe environment where the language takes root naturally.
· I transform the online class into a sensory space. I use natural elements, warm narration, and a calm presence so that Spanish reaches them through beauty and tranquility, capturing their imagination.
· I nurture their sense of wonder, fine motor skills with simple crafts, and emotional intelligence, using Spanish as the common thread in a holistic learning experience.
· I guide you to become the bridge of trust between your child and the new language, strengthening your bond as you learn together.
My Approach for Adults
I firmly believe that no two students are alike.
That's why no two of my lessons are alike. Your goal is my roadmap.
· I don't use pre-made plans. Each lesson is created from your interests, pace, and learning style (film, business, culture... that's where we start).
· Here, making mistakes is a treasure that guides us. My priority is for you to feel calm enough to express yourself and explore the language without pressure.
· After each session, you will receive useful observations and concrete tools for your continuous progress.
My Commitment:
· I dedicate time to understanding not only your goals but also your doubts and your unique way of learning.
· I resources (stories, images, activities) with a clear pedagogical purpose and an aesthetic quality that respects the student's attention.
· I share with you the essence, nuances, and warmth of Latino Spanish, going far beyond grammar.
I choose to teach not from a manual, but from human connection and a deep respect for the natural learning process, whether at age 5 or 50.
