Hello everyone. I’m Kana.

I teach Japanese at a Japanese language class and a conversation class run by an NPO.

When you talk with Japanese speakers, have you ever thought that it’s completely different from what you learned in Japanese language school lessons?
Have you ever been unable to keep up with the conversation speed and had a hard time understanding what they were saying?

If you just study for the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test), it won’t improve your conversation skills.
The only way to improve your conversation is to talk a lot with Japanese speakers.

My lessons focus on practical conversation lessons for people traveling to Japan or living in Japan.

Since I worked for an airline for 15 years and in Japanese and international hotels for 5 years, I can also help you practice customer service and honorific language for working in Japanese hotels.

・Teaching Japanese since 2024 at Japanese language classes and NPO-operated conversation classes.

① Japanese for Traveling
・Going shopping, restaurants, using transportation, and asking for directions


② Japanese for Daily Life
・Going to the hospital, phone etiquettes, vocabulary related to post offices/banks, vocabulary related to work


③ Japanese for Customer Service
・Practicing customer service language and keigo (honorific language) for people working at Japanese hotels


④ Casual Conversation in Japanese
・Let’s chat about your favorite topics.
・You can choose to have your video ON or OFF.
・You can choose to have feedback.


※Lessons are typically conducted in Japanese, but I can converse in casual English is necessary.
