Hello! My name is Chen (陳). ^_^
 
I’m a mom raising two kids, ages 6 and 9. Drawing on my experience with children, I strive to provide welcoming and gentle lessons tailored to each individual’s learning pace, guided by my motto of teaching in a “clear and enjoyable” environment.
 
I hold a teaching license obtained in China, as well as a Mandarin Chinese (China’s official language) Level 2 Grade A qualification. I have also passed N1 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test. During my 7 years in Japan, I taught everyday conversation, travel conversation, and business conversation to working adults. Besides Japanese, I can also teach in English.
 
The key feature of my lessons is tailoring my instruction to each learner’s individual goals and level. I also prioritize offering lots of conversation practice to help you develop practical speaking skills. Through careful guidance, I’ll help you experience the joy of effective communication and steadily improve your Chinese conversational abilities.
 
I also provide a wealth of phrases useful for daily conversations at home and parenting. From morning routines to bedtime, I gently and carefully share the “real-life Chinese” that is actually used in my household.


I have been living in Japan since 2012. I have lived in various regions, including Hokkaido, Kanagawa, Miyagi, Chiba, and Yamanashi. During this time, I had many opportunities to interact with Japanese people, and whenever I faced difficulties, those around me always helped me.
 
I would be delighted to be able to support Japanese people learning Chinese.
