Hi there! (｡･∀･)ﾉﾞ I'm Abi, nice to meet you.

I was born and raised in South Africa, but I currently reside in Greece with my son, partner, 2 bunnies (Chu and Smudge), and our two birds (Bruce Lee and Annie)

I'm a TEFL-certified English teacher with six years of experience teaching students of all ages, both online and in-person. I've taught at a Cambridge exam prep center in Italy, preparing students for Cambridge exams from Pre-Starters to C2, IELTS, and Business English. I've worked with individuals and groups, creating personalized lessons to help each student improve their skills — whether it's for exam preparation, conversation practice, or building confidence. My teaching style is friendly, patient, and supportive. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable to express themselves, no matter their age or level. I create a positive, encouraging environment where mistakes are seen as part of the learning process. My lessons are interactive and engaging, using conversation, games, and real-life scenarios to make learning enjoyable while helping students gain confidence and reach their goals. 

I have many interests and passions, from exploring my favourite topics like philosophy and astronomy to playing video games and creating games as a hobby. I'm also studying towards a degree in Computer Science. My curiosity is always growing because there's so much to discover in this world, don't you think?
