Hi! I'm Zoe, an English and Spanish teacher from Argentina. I'm also a singer and actress, so languages, communication, and self-expression have always been a big part of my life.
I've been teaching English and Spanish for several years, mainly working with adult students from different countries. What I enjoy most about teaching is creating a space where students can actually use the language to communicate, share ideas, and talk about things they genuinely care about.
My teaching style is relaxed, conversational, and highly personalized. I don't believe every student should follow the same lesson plan, so I adapt my classes to your level, interests, personality, and goals.
I especially love conversation-based lessons. We might discuss films, books, music, theatre, culture, relationships, everyday life, or more thought-provoking topics that lead to interesting discussions. I usually prepare vocabulary, expressions, questions, and conversation prompts around a topic, while leaving plenty of room for the conversation to develop naturally.
During our lessons, I'll help you correct mistakes, improve your pronunciation and phrasing, expand your vocabulary, and find more natural ways to express what you want to say. My goal is for you to feel challenged while still feeling comfortable enough to experiment with the language and make mistakes.
As a native Spanish speaker from Argentina, I can also help you experience Spanish in an authentic, everyday context. We can work on conversation, vocabulary, pronunciation, and real-life Spanish, always adapting the lessons to your interests and goals. If you're interested, we can also explore Rioplatense Spanish, including its pronunciation, expressions, and unique features.
A little more about me: I love music, theatre, films, literature, and anything related to the arts. Because of my background as a performer, I'm particularly interested in how we use our voice to communicate and express ourselves — not just in speaking correctly, but in feeling comfortable and confident while doing it.
Whether you want to improve your fluency, expand your vocabulary, practice speaking regularly, or simply have interesting conversations in English or Spanish, I'd love to meet you.
See you in class!
