【Online Private Tutor】
I have 15 years of experience as a private tutor. I have taught students with a wide range of academic strengths, from children who struggled with studying to those aiming for leading schools. I can provide comprehensive support for all three subjects. In my lessons, I want to help students not only to get better grades, but also show them how fun learning can be.
So far, I have helped my students successfully enter the following schools: Shibuya Makuhari High School, Waseda-Shibuya Singapore School, Ritsumeikan Uji High School, Ritsumeikan Keisho High School, Doshisha International High School, Hiroo Gakuen High School, Taki High School, Tsukuba University High School, and many more. Of course, I can also provide guidance for public high school entrance examinations. I have had students go on to Chiba High School, Tokyo Metropolitan International High School, Tsu High School, Koyo High School, Nishinomiya Municipal High School, and many other prestigious high schools throughout Japan.
It is important to know “how to study.” This nt only includes how to review and correct mistakes, but also how to make a study plan to achieve your goals, check your study progress, while developing a habit of studying together.
*Students who would like to join me for a single or short-term course, such as for periodic test preparation, EIKEN test preparation, support for a specific weak points, and more are also welcome. Please feel free to contact me.
*I can provide printouts for you to use during the lessons, but if you would like to use your own materials, please send the data to me.
【Self Introduction】I took the junior high school entrance exam because the environment in my local elementary and junior high schools were not good. This is why I understand the feelings of children who do not want to go to school. (It was at cram school that I learned the joy of studying, and that is why I am working as a tutor now. I always try to make sure that the children enjoy their studies as much as I did.)
I became interested in American culture after I went on to do a homestay as a high school student, which led me to major in English and American literature in college. The first paperback I bought myself was “The Catcher in the Rye” by J. D. Salinger. I still try to read at least one English book a month.
Since I was a student, I often visited bookstores and libraries, and I also worked part-time at a used bookstore and a publishing company. I get excited when people talk about books.
I am currently living in Thailand with my Pomeranian, who’s in my profile picture.
On my personal blog, I discusses about books and studying related topics, as well as analyzing entrance examinations for middle and high school students.
