안녕하세요! Hello! My name is Yang Jeehye.

I am from Seoul, the capital of South Korea, and I also graduated from a university in Seoul.

I currently live in Suji, a satellite city of Seoul, in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do Province.

I am in my mid 50's, and I have a cheerful and optimistic personality. I live with my two sons in their 20s, my husband, and my in-laws. I also have an adorable Shiba Inu.

I have always been a social person since I was a little kid and loved making new friends. I also enjoyed teaching others what I know.

I was a curious kid and I loved to make friends, so I made many friends abroad by writing letters in English with a tool called PenPal, which is a way to make friends by exchanging letters, since I was a little kid.

After graduating from college, I worked at the headquarters of SK Corporation in South Korea.

When I got married, I quit my cooperate job and up until recently, I spent most of my time teaching English to many students, from kindergarten children to adults, and Korean to non-native speakers.

In my decades of teaching, the most important thing I have learned is to connect with students.

I believe that the most important thing is to communicate with students, to understand their needs and to help them achieve results.

This is why I actively interact with my students to ensure smooth and comfortable communication,

so I can help them feel confident in using the language.

I always have a positive attitude, and my motto is that I want anyone who spends time with me to have a time of mutual enjoyment and appreciation, so I try to make the best of each and every moment. I’m also passionate about whatever I do, so I’m very driven to help my students achieve their goals.

I would like to do my best to befriend many students on Cafetalk, have fun talking with them, and help them improve their Korean language skills.

I look forward to meeting you soon.

Thank you.

Yang Jeehye
