Hello! I’m teacher Maka, an English teacher from Lesotho. Welcome to my profile! 

Are you looking for a friendly and patient teacher who can help you speak English more confidently and naturally? I would be happy to help you!

In my lessons, we can work on:

  • Conversation & Speaking – Practice real-life conversations, express your ideas, and build confidence speaking English.
  • Grammar – Understand grammar easily through clear explanations, practical examples, and exercises that you can use in everyday English.
  • Vocabulary – Learn useful words and expressions and, most importantly, practice using them naturally in conversations.
  • Pronunciation – Work on difficult sounds, word stress, and natural pronunciation to make your speech clearer and easier to understand.
  • Role-plays & Real-life Situations – Practice situations such as traveling, meeting new people, interviews, studying, working, and everyday conversations.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Education, majoring in English Literature and African Languages, a Master’s degree in African Languages, and a 120-hour TEFL certificate with distinction.

I have over five years of classroom teaching experience and experience teaching English to learners at different levels. I teach children, young learners, and adults, from beginners to advanced students.

My lessons are relaxed, interactive, and student-centered. I want you to feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and speaking as much as possible. I will listen to your needs and adapt our lessons to help you achieve your goals.

Whether you want to improve your conversation skills, strengthen your grammar, expand your vocabulary, improve your pronunciation, prepare for an exam, or use English for work or study, we can create lessons that are right for you.

Outside teaching, I enjoy hiking, traveling, picnicking, reading, and learning about different cultures. I love meeting people from different backgrounds, and I look forward to learning about you too!
