Hello, I’m Leah. I am originally from South Korea, but I’ve been living in Japan for 14 years since marrying my Japanese partner.
I believe the most important things in learning a language are a sense of security as well as enjoyment.
In my 20s, I lived in the UK and Australia and was exposed to various cultures. From this experience, I am able to handle everyday-level English conversation, and I truly understand both the excitement and the confusion that comes with learning a new language.
My lessons aren’t just about studying grammar, but rather, they’re about setting aside some time to naturally pick up Korean as if you were enjoying a cup of tea with a friend.
We can also enjoy chatting together about everyday topics such as traveling, delicious foods, movies, dramas, musicals, plays, hobbies such as knitting, reading, and watching baseball, and even things like cats.
I place great importance on creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere so that even middle-aged and senior learners can feel at ease and enjoy my lessons.
I would be delighted if we could share some time learning together, where you will not only be able to study Korean, but also have a sense of closer connection to South Korea.

특히 중장년 학습자분들이 편안히 즐길 수 있도록 따뜻하고 여유 있는 분위기를 소중히 하고 있습니다.
한국어 공부를 넘어, 한국을 가까이 느낄 수 있는 시간을 여러분과 함께 만들어 가고 싶습니다.
