Introduction
Hello! I’m Megumi (nickname: Meme, pronounced Memeh), a Japanese teacher.
Please call me めめせんせい.

I have completed professional training in Japanese language education and hold a teaching qualification.

Even if you are studying Japanese, 
have you ever had trouble understanding what someone is saying, 
or felt unsure about how to respond?

In my lessons, we use only Japanese.
By listening to and speaking Japanese a lot, you will gradually get used to its sounds and rhythm.
If you feel nervous about lessons being only in Japanese, please don’t worry.
I use photos and illustrations to help you understand the lesson clearly.

 
What kind of lessons?
・Textbook Lessons
We study reading, listening, speaking, and writing using textbooks.
The pace and content match your level and goals.

・Conversation Lessons
Practice using what you have learned.
Order at a shop, go shopping, invite a friend, and more—
little by little you can do more in Japanese.

・Listen & Talk Lessons
You listen to short, natural Japanese conversations and talk freely about what you heard.
It’s recommended for learners who want to get used to real Japanese and enjoy speaking naturally.
 
Message
Learning a language can be challenging, but the sense of achievement is also very rewarding.
As a language learner myself, I know the joy of moments like
“I could say what I wanted!”  “I understood what they said!”
In my lessons, I aim to help you experience that same joy.
