Hello! My name is Francis. I am from Venezuela, currently living in Galicia, Spain. My professional life has been dedicated to teaching different subjects; however, the most popular ones have been English and Spanish. 

 

Education


2009 - I have a bachelor’s degree in Education with a major in English from the Language Department in Universidad de Oriente in Venezuela. While in College I studied 2 years of British and North American Literature. Publishing two papers about how to study novels, short stories and poems for research purposes.

 

2017- I got a Master in Social Education and Intercultural Mediation from Instituto Internacional de Estudios Globales para el Desarrollo Humano. España, Unión Europea

 

2022- TEFL/TESOL Certified


Experience


2009-2017- Full time Professor of English for the informatics Department at Universidad Politecnica de Sucre Venezuela.

While working as a professor I created the first reading club on campus, organized events for social equality and the right to practice any religious beliefs on campus. I offered academic counseling and support for new students and I was awarded a 5 year of academic excellence. I also created the first course of English for investigation for master and PhD students.


2017-Present

Full Time Online Teacher of English and Spanish for students of all ages and backgrounds.

Besides, I am constantly participating in academic conferences related to biodiversity and plastic waste providing English interpretation.

 

I lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina for 6 years which gave me an incredible sense of culture and acceptance. Now, I am currently living in Galicia, Spain and I am learning about the Spanish culture which I can share with you all!
