Self Introduction Hi! I am a language teacher who can speak
Cantonese, Mandarin, English and Japanese. You can call me Jun.
I use
Cantonese as well as
Chinese as my native tongue. After finishing my postgraduate studies, I have also worked as an
English language teacher.
When I first came to Japan, I intensively studied Japanese from scratch, and after two years I had passed the
N1 level of JLPT (which is a Japanese Language Proficiency Test for non-Japanese speakers).
I love languages and I enjoy helping students from different backgrounds learn Chinese, Cantonese, or English in a practical and enjoyable way.
I also run a YouTube channel:
Jun's Chinese 華語学堂

Teaching Experience & Results
- Over the years, I have taught both children and adult learners.
- Some of my students have studied with me for more than 4 years, continuing steadily and building strong Chinese foundations.
- I have also guided students who achieved high scores in YCT exams, as well as students who achieved full marks in HSK exams.
- For me, the most important thing is not only passing exams, but helping students build the ability and confidence to continue learning Chinese in the long term.
Teaching Style
- I am good for students who want a “study-oriented” teacher. I would like to share my studying tips with you based on my own experience studying languages.
- I value your motivation to study the most, as it is much more important to be able to continue your studies rather than the content of your studies.
- I am a gentle teacher, who always has a smile. In my lesson, it’s not only alright to make mistakes, but I see it as a chance to understand the differences in Chinese better.
- I will offer lessons via zoom or other softwares, but as we will be using ppt files, I recommend that you have your video turned on during the lesson (if you want to turn you video off, please let me know in advance).
Join me now and let’s have fun learning different languages together!
