Hello! My name is Sae.
I was born in Hokkaido and now live in Tokyo, Japan. I speak standard Japanese.
I graduated from a university in the United States, so I can also communicate in English.
I have experience working in the hotel industry, and I also taught Japanese language arts and English at a tutoring school.
I have been teaching English to children for over 10 years, and I have 2 years of experience teaching Japanese online.
For beginners, I can teach from the very basics, including how to read hiragana. Once you become comfortable with hiragana, we can study using the textbooks Genki I and Genki II.
I create lessons based on each student's needs and goals, whether you would like to focus on conversation practice, prepare for the JLPT, or improve your overall Japanese skills.
I mainly use Genki I and Genki II in my lessons. If you would like to use a different textbook, please contact me in advance.
Since I can support you in both Japanese and English, beginners can feel comfortable learning with me.
