Greetings! I'm Teacher Jolande, your dedicated guide to mastering science with ease!
Feeling a bit overwhelmed by science in English? No worries! With my relaxed teaching style and student-focused approach, learning becomes an enjoyable adventure. Inspired by my own biology teacher, I'm passionate about sparking curiosity and fostering understanding in my students.
Armed with a B.Sc in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology, along with a PGCE certification and TEFL certification, I'm well-equipped to navigate the complexities of science.
Expect a relaxed atmosphere in our sessions, where questions are encouraged and concepts are scaffolded for deeper understanding.
Beyond academics, I'm a parent to two young children and share my home with two dogs and two cats. Their boundless energy and curiosity mirror the engaging atmosphere I aim to create in our lessons.
Sometimes, my toy pom might bark, but I'll quickly attend to her. If you face similar situations, no worries—I completely understand.
Rules: Please refrain from recording or screenshotting without permission. I'll inform you if I need to cancel a lesson, which rarely happens unless it's an emergency from my children's school. I prefer teaching with both camera and audio on for an interactive experience, but feel free to use the chat box or just the microphone if you're shy at first.
Currently, my science lessons are geared towards ages 12-15.
