Hello!

I’m Gyungjin (Gina), a Korean language tutor.

“Would you like a Korean-only environment where you can really practice speaking?”

I don’t use Japanese during my lessons, and I mainly communicate with my students in Korean.

My lessons may feel a little challenging at first, but that’s also what gives you more opportunities to think in Korean and express yourself naturally.

“I’m studying Korean, but I don’t have many chances to actually speak it.”
“I want to practice speaking Korean through conversation, rather than just listening to explanations.”

If this sounds like you, my lessons may be a great fit.

My lessons are currently for intermediate and advanced learners who can communicate in basic Korean.


[What We Can Do in My Lessons]

  • Free Conversation
    We can talk freely about everyday life, travel, hobbies, work, Korean culture, and many other topics.
  • Read Together
    We can read something you would like to read, such as an article, book, or other Korean text, and talk about it together.
  • Pronunciation Check
    I can check your Korean pronunciation and speaking habits and help you sound more natural.
  • Read Korean Namuwiki Together
    We can look up interesting Korean people, food, places, history, culture, and more on Namuwiki while learning Korean.
    Try searching for a Korean word + “Namuwiki” and you’ll find much more information than you might expect!
  • Watch Videos Together
    We can watch YouTube videos and other content together while learning useful expressions and new vocabulary that Korean people actually use.

I enjoy talking about not only textbook expressions,
but also natural Korean expressions used by Korean people in everyday life and at work, as well as Korean culture.

I have more than 13 years of work experience in Korea,
so I can also help you understand Korean used in the workplace and business situations, as well as everyday conversation.

And if you come to Korea,
I sometimes meet my students in person when our schedules work out.

I hope our relationship can go beyond simply being an online teacher and student.
If you visit Korea someday, it would be wonderful to meet in person and use Korean together!

[A Little About Me]

I enjoy visiting exhibitions and museums,
and I love matcha and animals.

I also enjoy walking in nature
and discovering new cafés.

So I love talking about things like:

“Have you seen any interesting exhibitions recently?”
“Have you been to any cafés in Korea that you liked?”
“What kind of animals do you like?”
“Is there a natural spot in Korea you would like to visit?”

I believe even these simple, everyday conversations can become great opportunities to practice Korean.

Before request is confirmed (fixed)

  • Cancellation possible at any time without charge.

(Not applicable for “Immediate Confirmation” lessons)

After request is confirmed (fixed)

  • Less than 12hours before lesson start time.→ 100% of price charged.
  • Between 12-24hours before lesson start time.→ 50% of price charged.
  • No-Show→ 100% of price charged.
