Hi, my name is Angie 【アンジー】

 

I grew up and live in Wales, in the UK.

I have a degree in Art and love creative hobbies like drawing and photography. I enjoy language, nature, travel, film, food, and books. I'm learning Japanese, and it's led me to interesting experiences over the years, like trips to Japan, meeting people from around the world, and recently joining a local Kendo Dojo.

What sort of things have you done because of your interest in English?

I'm so happy that you're learning English! I love meeting new people and sharing ideas, so I’m really looking forward to hearing from you ^_^

 

A few years ago, I started running study groups on Discord with other Japanese learners. We found that we could help each other's confidence and have fun practising. This has really fed my love of language learning and desire to help others find confidence. It's made me excited to share my experience and support English learners too!

I understand how hard it can be, but learning really can be fun and energising! My aim is to tailor lessons to your needs and interests, making sure our time together suits you and helps you reach your goals. Whether you're looking to improve your conversation skills, brush up on grammar, listening comprehension or pronunciation I'm here to help every step of the way.

 

Our lessons will be friendly and relaxed so that you can build confidence. We can use a mix of materials like articles, videos, and everyday conversation to make learning practical and enjoyable. If you ever have questions or need extra help, I’m always here to support you.
