Hello.
Nice to meet you!
I am a certified, professional Japanese language tutor, Masumin.
Do you want to be able to speak Japanese?
If you want to, please come and join my lessons.
【Qualification】
I have completed the 420-hour Advanced Skills of Teaching Japanese course.
【About My Lessons】
My lessons are focused on adult learners who are at the elementary level, as well as learners who want to learn Japanese for caregiving.
I provide a comfortable learning environment for beginners, while using a medium language (English) as necessary.
I offer the following three courses:
☆ Grammar and Conversation Practice for Beginners
Starting with basic grammar rules, you will get to learn expressions and phrases that can be used in daily life.
Lessons are offered using “Minna no Nihongo,” online materials, and my own slides.
This lesson is for learners who want to be able to speak Japanese.
☆ Japanese Lessons for Care Givers
This lesson provides students with communication skills, including expressions and terminology required for caregiving work.
Lessons will focus on practical content, drawing on more than 10 years of my own experience as a caregiver.
☆ Introductory Lesson ☆
Your first lesson for any of my lessons other than Free-talking will start with a brief self-introduction, answering the questions I have prepared for you, followed by a brief introductory lesson.
【Career History】
I have worked as a care giver in various types of nursing care, including hospitals, special nursing homes, home helpers, fee-based nursing homes, small-scale multifunctional in-home care and serviced housing for the elderly.
Teaching Japanese is a wonderful job, but I think that working as a care giver is also a wonderful job.
If you want to be involved in care work in Japan, are currently working in this field, or are studying to obtain a care worker qualification...
I would like to share the knowledge I have acquired as a care worker so that I can encourage and support such people.
【Interests】
I enjoy surfing, travelling and music.
I love surfing, and I surf all year round.
I have visited Bali about 15 times, Australia 4 times, New Zealand 3 times, South Korea twice, Taiwan, Fiji and Papua New Guinea once.
Most of my trips were to enjoy surfing, but I have also studied esthetics in Bali, and joined a short-term language exchange in Australia and New Zealand.
I have always enjoyed getting to know people, so I have made friends all over the world.
It was from my experience teaching Japanese as a volunteer to friends from all around the world that inspired me to become a professional Japanese language teacher.
The depth of the Japanese language, the difficulties and joys of teaching it, and the sense of achievement, made me more and more fascinated in teaching Japanese, so I decided to take a Japanese language teacher training course as I wanted to teach Japanese full-time.
My goal is for my students to become confident when using Japanese.
I strive to provide enjoyable lessons where students can achieve their goals.
If you are interested in any of my lessons, please don’t hesitate to make a reservation.
