Hello! My name is Alison Illanes, and I help students and professionals prepare for job interviews in English and Spanish with confidence, clarity, and professionalism.

I grew up in Bolivia and attended an American school, so I’ve been speaking American English since the age of 6. I’ve worked with English and Spanish for over 20 years, and in recent years, I’ve specialized in coaching professionals for job interviews, internships, and international roles.

My lessons are practical, friendly, and results-focused. We work on:
Answering interview questions naturally (not memorized)
Using action verbs and results-focused language
Communicating clearly under pressure
Building confidence in both English and Spanish interviews

I’m also a certified lawyer with a Master’s in Contract Law and a professional translator and interpreter (English–Spanish). This background allows me to support students who need professional, business, or legal language, especially in high-stakes situations.

In addition to interview preparation, I also offer:
Professional English and Spanish lessons
Productivity and communication coaching for professionals.

Translation and interpretation services
I speak Spanish, English, French, and Portuguese, and I understand firsthand how challenging it can be to express yourself clearly in another language.
