★ Hello, I'm Cassie! ★
Hello everyone! My name is Cassie, and I'm from the United States!
I'm a friendly, patient, and creative teacher with over 5 years of experience teaching children online, primarily ages 5-12. I have a Bachelor's degree in English & Literature and a 150-hour TESOL/TEFL certificate.
My teaching experience includes years of teaching Minecraft classes for children. It's one of my favorite ways to make learning feel fun!
☘︎ A Little about Me ☘︎
I'm a creative person! I enjoy writing, abstract art, diamond art, and paint-by-number projects. I've also recently picked up crochet, and I absolutely love the Disney character Stitch!

I also have a fluffy orange cat. He is a very special member of my family!

✿ My Teaching Style: Free Talk! ✿
My lessons focus on free talk and natural English conversation.
There are no strict scripts, vocabulary lists, worksheets, or traditional English lessons. Instead, I want to give children opportunities to use the English they know while doing something they enjoy.
As we talk, I'll provide friendly guidance with vocabulary, pronunciation, sentence structure, or finding ways to express an idea when needed.
Mistakes are completely okay! My goal is to create a welcoming environment where children feel comfortable speaking, asking questions, expressing themselves, and learning along the way.
✦ Why Learn through Play? ✦
Over the years, I've seen how much children can communicate when they're talking about something they genuinely enjoy.
That's why I love using play and children's interests to encourage conversation!
Instead of asking a child to memorize words on a vocabulary list, I want English to have a purpose. I want it to feel natural. Maybe they want to tell me what they're building in Minecraft, ask me for an item, decide where to explore next, or tell me about their favorite mob or Minecraft animal!
Those little conversations create natural opportunities to speak, listen, describe, ask questions, and learn new words along the way.
Learning English doesn't always have to feel like studying!
ꕤ Three Ways We Can Learn Together ꕤ
1. Play Minecraft Together
Let's play, build, explore, and talk together in Minecraft Bedrock Edition!
While we play, we'll use English to communicate about what we're doing, share ideas, ask questions, make decisions, and have conversations.

2. Minecraft Free Talk
Do you love Minecraft, but can't play during class? That's completely okay!
We can talk about it. Tell me about your favorite mobs, builds, biomes, updates, adventures, or anything else Minecraft-related. The conversation can go wherever your interests take us!
3. Create a Minecraft Story
Let's use our imaginations!
Together, we'll create our own Minecraft story. You tell me your ideas, and I'll type our story into a document during class. We'll decide on characters, locations, adventures, problems, and what happens next, all while practicing English conversation and creativity.
✷ Every Learner Is Different ✷
Whether your child is beginning to speak English or is already comfortable having conversations, I'll adjust our conversations to their current English level, interests, and individual goals.
Most importantly, I want children to feel comfortable being themselves and talking about things they enjoy.
If you have any questions, please feel free to message me.
