Stella Nakatsuka Tutor Profile
こんにちは！My name is Stella. Here are a few fun things about myself. Japanese culture has always been a passion of mine. Recently I have also found a love of British history. I have many hobbies which include sewing, everything related to history, gardening, studying Japanese, astrology, cooking and baking to name a few. I have had the pleasure to go to Japan several times and hope to visit more countries too!
This is from my first trip to Japan in 2007.
I've always had a passion for learning and teaching. I studied Japanese formally for 3 years, so I know the challenges of learning a different language can be a difficult process and the best way to exceed is to have fun while learning.
Prioir to online tutoring, I taught private guitar lessons with ages ranging from children to adults. Along with the previous, I tutored local children and teens in beginner Japanese. I also nannied and had the pleasure of helping the children with thier homework.
I'm very familar with Japanese culture as my husband is Japanese and we have a son we are raising bilingual, so everyday is a teaching day for me helping my toddler learn both English and Japanese. My husband also looks to me for teaching him English and correcting his grammer.
Whether your a child or an adult, beginner or near fluent, I can help you on your journey to understanding and speaking English. I will customize the lesson to fit your needs. 頑張ってください！
