Hi, my name is Nic. I was born in Zambia, went to school in Zimbabwe and did my Chemical Engineering degree in South Africa. I am a British Citizen and a Native English speaker.
In my job as a business and marketing consultant, I was fortunate to travel to over 120 countries, including Japan, China and other countries in Asia. I have also lived in many other countries such as the UK, Singapore, Hong Kong, Brazil, the Philippines and now Portugal. I even owned a backpacker hostel in the Philippines for a while! This has given me a great general knowledge about the world and world affairs.
I was required in my job to do many presentations to other businesses and also at conferences. I have won a lot of business this way and won several awards. So I can help you craft really great presentations.

I have 5 years’ experience as an ESL teacher. In South Africa I worked for Help to Read, sitting one on one with kids struggling to read. In Philippines I worked with kids groups, also helping them to read. In Portugal, I work for SPEAK doing English conversation classes for anyone hoping to improve their English skills. I now work online teaching English, so I look forward to lessons with students on Cafetalk.
