こんにちは！ダニエルです。スウェーデン出身、今は網走に住んでいます。
スウェーデンで４年間、高校の語学教師として英語、ドイツ語とフランス語を教えていました。
今は市内と近郊のかたに個人レッスンやグループレッスンをしています。

In our most recent lesson, we reviewed how to read numbers and also learned how to tell the time. Unlike English-speaking countries, in Sweden they read time on a 24-hour system, and when the time is more than 30 minutes, they say "minutes ago." This is the same as another European language that I have studied a little in the past, so I'm a little confused. I never say "minutes ago," but there are people in Japan who do, so I realise that I first need to get used to it.

If I know the spelling of a word I can understand the meaning a little, but it's difficult to understand the meaning of the word just by pronunciation.
