Unlike English-speaking countries, in Sweden they read time on a 24-hour system, and when the time is more than 30 minutes, they say "minutes ago." This is the same as another European language that I have studied a little in the past, so I'm a little confused.
I never say "minutes ago," but there are people in Japan who do, so I realise that I first need to get used to it.
In today's lesson we learned how to read numbers.
I'm particularly confused about 4 and 7, including how to pronounce them, but numbers are my forte so I think I'll be able to use them naturally once I get used to it.

Other Swedish words are quite difficult, including pronunciation. If I know the spelling of a word I can understand the meaning a little, but it's difficult to understand the meaning of the word just by pronunciation.

Today's lesson focused on indefinite articles.
Teacher Daniel always gives careful instruction and teaches me various words related to the learning content and their origins, which makes it easy to study with interest.
In particular, it seems that long words are often made up of multiple shorter words, and having him break them down and explain their meaning helps to further improve my learning.
I haven't been able to take Teacher Daniel's classes recently, but I'm very grateful that he's always so kind and willing to teach me.

Swedish is full of difficult things, such as the way word endings change depending on the person of the pronoun and the definite article being different depending on the word, but I hope to continue studying steadily.
Today, I was taught how to greet people in Swedish and was checked my homework.

Swedish words are often completely different from English words, so it will be hard to remember them. I think there is no other way than to get used to it.
However, there was one thing that I found interesting. That was that there is a way to respond when it is difficult to say either yes or no.
