Hello! My name is Carey Magnusson. I have been mentoring students for fifteen years. I have been a professional chef in Canada for twenty years as well. I am passionate about language, animals, travel, delicious food, music, manga/anime and gaming. I have a Bachelors Degree Majoring in French Literature as well as a TOEFL Degree. I would be happy to help you gain confidence in the English or French language while engaging in fun supportive lessons on any number of topics.

I recently moved to Costa Rica and am learning Spanish. I believe that having learned French and actively learning Spanish right now help me understand difficulties you may encounter in learning a new language and make me a strong candidate to help you on your language journey.
