Nice to meet you. My name is MIRI, and I have over 10 years of experience studying Korean and have also experienced a working holiday in South Korea.
I am currently continuing my Korean studies at the Cyber Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, aiming to obtain a Level 2 Korean language teaching certification.
The biggest reason why I, as a Japanese speaker, decided to aim to become a Korean language teacher, is that I am a Korean language learner myself. I think there are times where you might hesitate or make mistakes because of word choice, phrasing, and pronunciation, especially as a Japanese speaker, and there may be some of you who still lack confidence in speaking with native tutors.
