Welcome to Tomomi's violin lessons!


Hello, I'm Tomomi, living in Japan.


Based in Tokyo, I work as a violin teacher and am enaged in orchestras, solo and chamber music activities.


I've been teaching for 14 years. I work at a major music school and from home and currently have 30 students.


From consultations with those of you considering beggining the violin, beginner students, those studying for music school exams, to those of you interested in competitions, I would like to make use of my experience to offer a wide variety of lessons. Amongt the students currently studying with me, I have an age range from a child of three to an adult in their eighties.♪

From 15 minutes to one hour, the student can choose their desired lesson time.

Treating the foundations with utmost importance, I teach each student according to their individuality.

To start off, we do lessons as if you have a violin, taking care of correct posture.

Violin is fun! Music is fun!
Especially considering the state the world is in now, it's important to feel free and feel the music. I am here to help you with all my heart.

Graduated from a public music college and completion of a chamber music course.

EURO MUSIC FESTIVAL LEIPZIG 2007 Master Class award. Concert Vivant newcomer audition success and subsequent performance. In 2011 at the TAMA Music Forum chamber music seminar, held lessons for the public with the 4 member Leipzig string ensemble. At an international art festival overseas music college master class dispatch audition, semi-finalist. 2012 Zurich national music college master class attendance.

Professional chamber music orchestra extra, fomer Takarazuka moon troupe top female role actress Ai Kodama dinner show head violinist. In 2019 former Takarazuka star troup male role star Hiroki Nanami Christmas dinner show band member. Currently working as a teacher. Have learnt violin under Nobuko Shimada, Mami Teshigawara, Keiko Urushihara. I've studied chamber music under Keiko Urushihara and Tsugio Tokunaga.
