Hello,
I’m Minjun Seo,
a marketing manager at a Korean perfume brand, and
a Korean language tutor on Cafetalk.
I have always been interested in Japanese culture since I was a young child,
having watched various Japanese movies and music, and
I eventually started to learn everyday Japanese while
selling products to Japanese customers in Namdaemun market.
I was also involved in language exchange in college,
where I often felt that I wanted to play a role
as a bridge between Japan and South Korea by interacting with various Japanese people.
I also learned the different tones and expressions
of the Korean language and found
great pleasure in helping others learn them.
I majored in marketing at Kookmin University, and
since then, I have successfully led marketing projects
for various domestic and international cooperations in South Korea.
These experiences have given me a deep understanding
of the technical terms and expressions of various industries
and how to use Korean more effectively in the real world.
Based on these experiences, I try to convey more than just the language
to my students learning Korean.
I also have a keen interest in media,
so I try to provide my students with a variety of expressions,
critical thinking skills, and an understanding of contemporary Korean society,
which you can also learn from Korean movies and dramas.
