Nice to meet you. My name is Yui.
I am from Japan, but I currently reside in France.
I love cooking, and I hold a culinary license. I have also been working in a Japanese restaurant in France for 15 years now. Even if the ingredients are the same as in Japan, there are differences in appearance and taste from ingridients available in France. The cooking methods can also differ. What the customers find to be tasty is also different. These are what make it so interesting!
If you are interested in Japanese food culture, Japanese sake, cooking knives, and so on, why don’t you join me for a fun learning experience?
I don’t plan on offering actual cooking lessons, but I will flexibly accommodate your requests, such as explanations of Japanese recipes, cooking terminology, and seasonings.
Of course, we can talk about topics other than food. I have completed a Japanese language teacher training course, so if you have recently started studying Japanese or just want to practice speaking in Japanese, we can have fun talking.
