Who Am I?
Hi parents and future students! I'm Vera—an energetic, creative English teacher who turns learning into an adventure.
Many kids study English, but few get the chance to enjoy it. That's where I come in. In my classes, students don't just memorize—they explore, create, and communicate with confidence.
Born in South Africa and educated in the USA, I combine clear, native-level pronunciation with a playful, engaging style that helps students feel relaxed, excited, and ready to learn. Over the 4 years that I have been teaching, I've helped countless students speak English confidently.
In my classroom, I aim to help students move from "I don't understand" to "It's easy!!" through stories, games, and real conversations.

My greatest passion is connecting with each child as an individual. I take time to understand every student's unique personality, interests, and learning style. This helps me tailor lessons so that each child doesn't just learn—they thrive! And they ask for more!
I believe that joy leads to confidence, and confidence leads to success.
That's why I blend structure with fun, mixing science topics, stories, hands-on projects, and critical thinking into each session. I am to awaken curiosity, not just follow a textbook.
Whether your child loves animals, science, art, or asking endless questions—I'll help them grow in English while staying true to themselves.
I draw from the best techniques in my teaching toolkit, adapting approaches that cater to every student's strengths.

I've traveled to over 17 countries and I've trained alongside esteemed researchers connected to Harvard University and Beijing Normal University.
