Hello, I am Gerry Masters and I hope I can help you become more confident in your use of English.
My teaching career includes 15 years of teaching Elementary students, for five of those years I was also a Principal. Then I moved on to Adult Education teaching International Students at all levels for ESOL, IELTS, TOEFL, Exam preparation and Everyday conversation. 
I have taught online since 2019

I very much enjoy meeting people from different cultures and learning new things from them. My partner is Malaysian Chinese and we have spent many holidays with them, so I know how Asian families work (noisy!)
I encourage my students to work hard, ask questions and be prepared to give good reasons for their opinions. I use a variety of approaches and methods based on the needs of my learners and I make sure we are all having fun while we are learning.
 
My lessons are student led; it is all about what the student wants. If I notice something else I think you need to work on I will suggest it to you. If you need help preparing for an exam or have an essay you need checked I am your guy!
 
I am a patient, supportive and kind person who enjoys making my students feel good about the progress they are making, and I enjoy encouraging them sharing a joke with them.
