Hi! My name is YF. I'm originally from Taiwan and obtained my bachelors and master's degree from National Chengchi University in Taipei. After working in public sectors and industries for a few years, I continued to study in Germany and the Netherlands and received my LL.M. degree under the Erasmus Programme of the European. I'm currently teaching Chinese and conducting research in the field of environmental law in Europe.

It is fun for me to learn and share the experience of foreign languages with other language learners. And it is my target to let you enjoy the process of learning Chinese and feel a sense of improvement in my lessons. In addition, I will donate the credits in part from teaching at Cafetalk to Malala Fund and World Vision to help more children get access to education.

I believe that motivation and enthusiasm are the keys to excelling in a foreign language. A patient instructor with empathy plays an essential role in this journey of the marathon. Therefore, don't be shy or afraid of making mistakes in my lessons. The more mistakes you make, the sooner you'll become proficient.
About My Lessons and Booking

My lessons are structured mainly in traditional Chinese (繁體中文). However, if we come across an expression with a considerable difference between people speaking in Taiwan and China, I will point it out. Moreover, if you only learn simplified Chinese (简体中文), feel free to let me know beforehand. I will customize the lesson for you.
