Hello!
My name is Ulas Yalcin(ウラス ヤウチン).
はじめまして。
I am from England, London and have over 6 years of teaching experience in Japan.
In England I worked as a Paediatric Healthcare Assisstant at the The Royal London Hospital, I did waiting work at luxury hotels such as The Dorchester and Bvlgari Hotel London. I also did civil servant work for the DWP at Jobcentre Plus as an Employment Advisor.
After moving to Japan I worked as an ALT, English Teacher at English conversation schools and as an English Instructor at a Dental Clinic. Finally, I got married and decided to open my own English school.
Here are some snapshots of my students having fun learning English:
Here are some of the games and activities I made over the years:
Games have goals and objectives. When we play games, we try to win by achieving the goals. Your goals for learning and improving your English skills can be viewed in the same way. So why not put them together and enjoy the process of levelling up your English skills?
My lessons involve lots of student talking time(STT), critical thinking and creative thinking. I want my students to build confidence and acquire English in a relaxing and engaging environment. I focus on conversational and practical English so I don't follow a textbook or workbook, I create my own curriculum.
