About Me

I am a native Korean speaker who was born and raised in South Korea. I currently live in Japan, where I have worked in Korean translation at an international exchange center and taught Korean language and culture to local residents through community cultural center classes.

I have also provided private Korean lessons to learners from a variety of backgrounds, including Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, and American students. Through these experiences, I have developed the skills to adapt my teaching methods to each student’s individual needs, learning style, and goals.

My Teaching Style

  • Learn through your interests: Enjoy relaxed conversations about Korean dramas, K-pop, food, travel, and other topics you love while naturally improving your Korean.
  • Learn practical, everyday Korean: Discover authentic expressions that Koreans commonly use in daily life, beyond what you find in textbooks.
  • Improve your pronunciation and speaking skills: Practice natural pronunciation and intonation through conversation, and receive gentle corrections to help you express yourself more naturally.
  • Explore Korean culture and history: Learn not only the Korean language but also about Korean culture, history, and everyday life to gain a deeper understanding of Korea.
  • Lessons tailored to you: Each lesson is flexible and designed around your Korean level, interests, and learning objectives.
