【Greetings】 Nice to meet you! I’m Min, a Korean language tutor. I’m from South Korea and am currently attending graduate school in Japan to study marketing. I’m also a huge travel enthusiast, and during the two years I lived in Japan, I used Tokyo as my base and traveled to almost all the famous destinations, from Fukuoka, Sapporo, Okinawa, Osaka, Kyoto, and beyond. I also love traveling within South Korea. Whether we’re talking about Japan or South Korea, let’s have fun chatting!
【Japanese and Myself】 To be honest, there wasn’t any special reason why I started learning Japanese. However, after actually living in Japan, I became completely captivated by its charm. I’ve gone through the job-hunting process and earned a JLPT N1 certification. That’s exactly why I understand both the challenges and the joys of learning a foreign language. “It’s okay to start with a small reason.” This is something I’ve experienced firsthand.
【My Experience So Far】 I’ve taught many Japanese friends who wanted to learn Korean. They all told me, “It’s so much faster to have someone teach me in person than to study on my own!” Some friends even started out just as a hobby because they loved K-dramas and K-pop, but ended up passing the TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean). Seeing them gradually become able to speak the language is my greatest joy.
【Who’s Welcome in My Lessons】 Whether you’re an absolute beginner or just want to enjoy Korean as a hobby, you’re more than welcome in my lessons. 【What I Value Most in My Lessons】 Above all, I prioritize creating a learning atmosphere where students feel it’s “okay to make mistakes.” When learning a foreign language, the more you speak, even if you make mistakes, the more you’ll improve. I’ll provide thorough support in Japanese for anything you don’t understand, so there’s no need to worry about being “left behind.”
