Sho.IC 讲师的个人介绍

Hello! My name is Sho.IC and I work as a tutor. I mainly offer lessons focusing on mathematics. I strive to offer fun and easy-to-understand lessons to Japanese high school and junior high school students, as well as to those studying at international and local schools overseas.


Qualifications and Background

I would like to share some of my backgrounds with you. I hold multiple teaching qualifications in mathematics and in sciences, as well as a Master of Science degree. I have been teaching and supporting learners for over 10 years.


Customised Learning Experience

I value providing “customised learning experience.” to students. I do not have a set teaching style, but look for the best approach to suit each student’s individual needs and understanding. Each student has their own unique struggles. This is why I support each student to achieve their goals. I interact with each individual student, and by assessing their level and understanding at any given time, I work out a plan for helping them understand and overcome their individual challenges. For example, if a student is struggling with a particular concept, I will help them overcome that by providing more accessible explanations and exercises. Conversely, if you have a strong mathematical skill or interest, I can also provide opportunities to work on more advanced topics.


Continued Support after the Lesson

I currently provide all students with feedback after their lesson, which typically includes a file of the whiteboard used during the lesson and a file summarising the lesson content. Through this feedback, you can reflect on the lesson and make progress towards your goals. If you have any questions or doubts, feel free to talk to me at any time. I am here to support my students so that they can learn with confidence.
