Hi! My name is Steph and I'm a native English speaker from New Zealand. I have a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in English, and I've been working freelance in fields like writing, editing, and tutoring for over ten years.
I'm super passionate about writing and reading, so if you're interested in talking about books or trying out some creative writing, I think we'll get along great! In my degree I wrote a lot of essays and research papers, so I'm always happy to help out with homework assignments too. If you just want to chat, I'm always up for a conversation practice to get to know each other and try out some common conversation topics.
I have had a TEFL certificate since 2017 that I earned to be able to travel the world and teach; I recently returned home from a working holiday in Japan, working and volunteering in places like English Language Cafes to meet with locals and help them practice speaking English, or tutoring students preparing for English exams.
