Naomi O Tutor Profile
Hello! My name is Naomi, I am a passionate English teacher based in Japan.
I have been teaching English for over 5 years and have handled corporate and individual students of different levels. Most of my students are from Asian countries like Japan and South Korea.
Education and Experience
I hold a bachelor's degree in communication and obtained my teaching certificates from my previous job.
I worked in two different industries within teaching and retail banking. During my tenure as an English teacher, I have acquired different teaching styles to fit the needs of my students.
I have handled beginner-level students, focusing mainly on basic grammar and vocabulary. Honing their conversational and writing skills for intermediate-to-advanced students, and business English for corporate students. I also helped students prepare for their exams, such as TOEIC tests.
In addition, I gained expertise in sales and customer service from working in a global bank. This allow me to further share my knowledge about business English with my future corporate students.
Hobbies and Interest
I`m a fan of photography and short videos. I enjoy taking pictures or videos of random things, and I edit my own videos too!
In my free time, I would watch Netflix series or listen to podcasts.
Teaching Style
I always aim to have an engaging lesson in my class. I want to break the traditional approach and focus more on having a conversational teaching style. This way, my student will be able to express himself more by using the language.
