Naomi O 讲师的个人介绍

Hello! My name is Naomi, and I'm a passionate English teacher based in Japan.

I have over 8 years of experience teaching English to both individual and corporate students of various proficiency levels. Most of my students have been from Japan and South Korea, giving me valuable experience working with Asian learners and understanding their unique learning goals and challenges.

Education and Experience

I hold a bachelor's degree in Communication and earned my teaching certifications through my previous employers.

My professional background includes experience in both English education and retail banking. Throughout my teaching career, I have developed flexible teaching methods that are tailored to each student's needs, learning style, and goals.

I have taught beginner students by focusing on building a strong foundation in grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. For intermediate and advanced learners, I help improve conversational fluency, writing skills, and overall confidence in using English. I also teach Business English to corporate professionals and have helped students prepare for English proficiency exams, including the TOEIC.

In addition, my experience working at a global bank strengthened my expertise in sales, customer service, and professional communication. This allows me to provide practical, real-world Business English lessons for professionals who want to communicate confidently in international workplaces.

Teaching Style

I believe learning English should be enjoyable, interactive, and practical. My goal is to create a relaxed and engaging classroom where students feel comfortable expressing themselves without fear of making mistakes.

Rather than relying solely on traditional teaching methods, I focus on conversation-based lessons that encourage students to actively use English in real-life situations. Every lesson is tailored to the student's goals, whether they want to improve their daily conversation, prepare for an exam, or develop their Business English skills.
