Marika A Tutor Profile
Ever since I graduated from college in NYC, I've been working professionally as a musical theatre performer and music director in the states. I've been performing in NYC and regionally with many broadway veterans.
With my professional experience as a Singer/ Dancer/ Actor, a musical director/ assistant MD and classical piano skill, I've been teaching voice lessons and audition techniques for working professionals and amateurs. Some of my clients are Broadway performers.
Besides my performing life, I've been teaching hot traditional(26&2/ Bikram) yoga and Vinyasa yoga at 5 studios in NYC for a few years now. I have 2 yoga teaching certificates/ RYT 300.
I am able to adjust the class level and intensity based on student's mobility and condition, yet giving a challenge.
My motivation in teaching music, acting, yoga and/ English, is all about bringing the best out of each student's uniqueness and confidence...empowerment. As much as I love practicing yoga or working as a performer on stage, I love sharing my passion and experience to other people.
