Cla-chan Tutor Profile
My name is Hiraoka Claudia, I am an American photographer and graphic designer living in Tokyo, Japan. Just as you are here to learn, I am also learning a new language - Japanese! I am excited to join you on our journey to learning new languages! I have extensive experience in tutoring, with more than eight years of experience working with age groups Pre-K through High School, tutoring in many subjects such as English, Math and the Arts. My teaching approach is to be patient and kind, and you are sure to learn!
Three fun facts I'd like to share about me are that:
I am the ultimate Rilakkuma fan, and I collect anything and everything Rilakkuma.
It has always been a dream to travel and visit the many beautiful sights to see in Japan. Now, I am living in Japan and I like to create photobooks about the Japanese landscapes and imagery I see in everyday life.
Lastly, I have lots of experience tutoring and helping many students in different subjects. I enjoy helping others learn very much and I feel that the best way to do so is by making fun and engaging lessons that are easy to follow.
