Hello. My name is Kazunari, and I work as a tutor.
I offer Korean lessons on Cafetalk.
I am currently working as a judicial scrivener in Nagano prefecture.
When I was having a hard time while traveling abroad, I was helped by an Indonesian guide who spoke fluent Japanese and was very kind to me.
This led me to want to work as a judicial scrivener to help people from aboard living in Japan, so I began to study English, Korean, and Chinese more seriously.
I have so far scored 820 points on TOEIC (English), passed TOPIK grade 6 (Korean), and scored 208 points on HSK grade 5 (Chinese), among other language examinations.
Of all the languages I have studied, Korean was the one I enjoyed the most and am most confident in, so I decided to share the charm of the Korean language with those around me, and in June 2018, I started a Korean language class at my judicial office. In addition to Korean, I also offer English and Chinese lessons in my classes.
Since then, I have served as an tutor for Korean language courses held by the local government for local citizens, and as a Korean interpreter at international conferences where lawyers from South Korea, Taiwan, and Japan gather.
About my Korean language lessons
I am Japanese, and am not a native speaker of Korean.
Therefore, rather than focusing on advanced grammar and difficult vocabulary, I believe my role is to help beginner level learners and relatively inexperienced learners learn Korean in a enjoyable way, while helping them speak more freely in their own way.
In particular, I believe that my advantage as a tutor from Japan, is that I can offer lessons that help Japanese speakers master the Korean language efficiently by clarifying the similarities and differences between the two languages; Japanese and Korean.
I would like to use my own experience as a learner and as a tutor to share the beauty of the Korean language and the joy of speaking it with as many students as possible.
I would be delighted if I could help you learn Korean.
I look forward to working with you.
