Hello and welcome to my profile! My name is Shibby and I'm from South Africa but I have been living in Japan for more than four years. I have more than 9 years of English teaching experience and previously worked as an English teacher at two junior high schools in Ishikawa, Japan.

I have a teaching certificate (TEFL) and have taught many students with different levels of English. I have also been studying Japanese and studied French at university too, so I understand the language learning process and I understand the difficulties of learning a second or third language too.
I love working with all kinds of students from beginner, intermediate to advanced. I teach both adults and children. Parent's are welcome to join their children in the lesson. My students describe me as friendly, calm and attentive and you will definitely feel comfortable during my lessons. My main goal is to help you and provide the best online teaching experience for you.
My lessons:
During my lessons, you will receive support and guidance. I create original material and also have resources such as textbooks and other materials available. After my lessons, you will receive extra support and material related to the lesson. If you have any requests, feel free to message me. I am always eager to communicate with students and you can contact me if you have any questions or special requests!

I would love to help you in achieving your goals. Please feel free to take a look at my schedule and book your next lesson.
I look forward to meeting you!
