I have assisted many students from around the world with English lessons. I am a qualified English teacher with over eight (8) years of experience, teaching online and working as an English teacher in Japan. I have specialised in teaching English as a foreign language and I have a teaching certificate (TEFL). My professional background is International Relations and I have worked in Foreign Affairs/government and teaching in Japan at junior high schools for the local government.
Teaching is my passion and I am a dynamic and patient teacher. I will find ways that will accommodate your learning style and approach. I am able to provide a safe space for learning while attending to all your English needs. You are also guaranteed to have a lot of fun during my lessons!
I love traveling and I have visited Indonesia, Vietnam and Korea. My hobbies and interests are volunteering, cooking, videography, art, music and soccer. I enjoy spending time outdoors and my favourite place is the beach. I love visiting cafes and spending time with friends and family!
During my lessons, you are guaranteed to receive support and guidance. I create my own material and also have a range of useful resources at hand. After my lessons, you will receive additional support by extra material/material related to the lesson. I am able to customize the lessons according to your preference. My teaching environment is fun and relaxing and I am certain that you will enjoy the lesson and feel comfortable during the class. I provide assistance to my students at anytime and am able to assist you with all your English needs.
I offer lessons for children of all levels and ages; from beginner to advanced. I have lessons designed for junior high school children as well as high schoolers. These lessons are interactive and fun; according to your needs, they will include reading, speaking, vocabulary and grammar points. I also offer free talk/conversational English classes for children and phonics lessons for very young children. These lessons are all parent friendly, so parents can attend the lessons too.
I am able to assist in preparing for all English examinations, this includes but is not limited to Eiken and IELTS examinations. I have helped many students both online and in person prepare for the Eiken tests. Feel confident and ready for your English exam by covering all of the material of the test (speaking, writing, reading and listening). I am professionally trained to prepare students for Eiken.
For adults, I am able to assist with reading and pronunciation, grammar, free talk and conversational English lessons, interview preparation and business English. I also have classes focused on TED Talks, news articles and a wide variety of topics. I am also able to communicate in Japanese, so for students who require extra support, I can assist you.
I am able to assist you, no matter what level you are from beginner, intermediate to more advanced. I am a foreign language learner too, so know that you are in a safe environment to make mistakes!
