Hello! I’m Saya, a language tutor who lays an emphasis on pronunciation.

Although I started learning English as an adult, by focusing more on pronunciation than on writing while making sure to stay relaxed and enjoying the learning process, I am now able to speak it quite naturally. On the other hand, I struggled a lot with German, which gave me an opportunity to think more in depth about language learning methods.

I aim to offer high quality lessons, so I have been gradually continuing my own language and pronunciation studies. ^^

Born in Tokyo, Japan. I taught myself English from scratch from when I was 20, and reached intermediate level in five years. I have lived in Germany and Ireland, and have travelled to 12 countries. After changing careers from customer service to IT and then design, I became a freelancer. I have been a language tutor for over 8 years.

I currently only support lessons through Zoom. Please check if you have ed Zoom when booking a lesson with me. If you Skype when booking a lesson with me, I will have to decline your request and kindly request you to re-send your request after ing Zoom.

・If the student does not have the camera turned on, the lesson will be offered in only audio.
・My lessons are primarily aimed at working adults.
・If you wish to book a lesson for a child, please consult with me in advance.
