Hi! I’m TD.
I was born and raised in Taipei, and I’m currently a full-time Chinese teacher. I can speak both English and Japanese, so you’re welcome to contact me anytime.
I’ve been teaching Chinese since 2021. In addition to online classes, I also have experience teaching both group and one-on-one classes at university language centers. My students range from junior high school students to retirees, and I’m familiar with teaching all levels from beginner to advanced.
✅Beginner Class
I especially enjoy teaching beginner-level students, and many of my current students started learning Chinese from zero. In beginner classes, I focus strongly on accurate pronunciation, and I also encourage students to become familiar with Chinese characters from an early stage. I mainly use the textbook "A Course in Contemporary Chinese " from National Taiwan Normal University, together with my own teaching slides. This approach helps students build a solid foundation in pronunciation and grammar.
✅Conversation Class
If you already have some basic knowledge and would like to improve your speaking skills, I make sure to give you plenty of opportunities to practice during class.
I’ll help you express what you want to say in Chinese, and at the end of each lesson, I provide clear feedback and corrections.
✅Advanced Class
For advanced learners, I use a variety of original teaching materials designed to significantly improve speaking and reading skills. I also explain grammar in the simplest and most practical way possible. Before becoming a Chinese teacher, I worked in the banking industry for many years, so I can also help you with Business Chinese and Chinese used in news and current events.
As a teacher, my goal is to help my students speak Chinese fluently and confidently, while truly enjoying the learning process. If you have any questions or specific learning needs, please don’t hesitate to message me.
